Bio of Theo

Education

Theo received his B.A. in Communications from Hofstra University in 1972. His education continued at HB Studio in New York City until his search for a fencing class brought him to the Wholistic Health Center in Manhassett. Though fencing wasn't offered, Theo began lessons in Tai Chi, and went on to enroll in several other classes. This was the beginning of Theo's training in Massage Therapy and foray into Eastern disciplines of Yoga, Herbology, healthy cooking and eating, and Amma Therapy.

Experience

Since graduation, in 1987, from what is now called The New York College of Health Professions , Theo has been working in private practice, the majority of which revolves around massage and energy field healing and balancing. With his clients, Theo often incorporates modalities which he has found to be of the greatest help to his clients. Some of these modalities are focused on a system of healing called "Energy Healing". Theo has found the integration of energy work and massage to provide the greatest results for his clients.

As a licensed Massage Therapist, Theo believes in taking excellent care of his own body. He jogs on a regular basis, practices Yoga and Buddhist Meditation, weekly, has continued with Tai Chi and often teaches it in his community, gets regular massages and body treatments, takes vitamins and gets plenty of rest. His wife, Annie, 11 years his junior, has trouble keeping up with him. Daughter, Samantha, and son, Calvin, both attend Oberlin College.

References

There are many people who would be happy to speak to you about their experiences with Theo as a healer. Please contact him for those references. If your physical condition warrants that you are unable to try some of the suggested processes on the "Try These!" page, don't despair. Call Theo and talk it over. As he listens to your story, his positive outlook has the added benefit of being contagious. You may be surprised at how easy it is to tell your story, and telling it may be your first step. Keep breathing!
