How much effort do I have to expend to change my health?
It's really up to the individual, but effort focused in a direction that
really feels right for you, can be enough to make even the smallest beginning towards health.
What is the most important quality to look for in a health practitioner?
Look for a good listener. When you can sense that a person is really listening to you and trying to understand
your relationship to your body and all its messages (i.e. aches, pains and unique symptoms), then that's a good beginning.
How much time before I decide that something just isn't working for me?
As you get better at listening to your own body, you
will get more intuitive with yourself. In other words, you'll know when to quit.
Also, it is always important to stop something that causes pain. Pain is the body's way
of communicating that something is not right.
My schedule is crazy. How can I find another minute to do one more thing
in my busy day?
Believe it or not, this is the easiest part. The moment you
begin to practice listening to your body, by taking a deep breath or sitting quietly
in a chair and going inward, is the moment you begin to stretch your time to make it your own.
This phenomenon seems contrary to common sense, but because most of us never learned how
to consider our internal temperature, we are frightened by it. Commiting to any practice,
no matter how small, begins to transform that fear.
Where do I get treated and how much can I expect to spend?
Theo can treat you at your home (he brings his own table) or in the comfort of his home office.
His charges are dependent on several factors; distance traveled, time spent with client and any
other special considerations. He averages $100 per hour.
What do I wear for a massage or treatment?
Whatever is most comfortable for you. Call ahead and ask your practitioner what they suggest. Again, your comfort takes top priority!
Can massage and energy work help me in my fight against cancer?
Theo has helped many people lessen cancer treatment side effects. His overall approach
is in helping a client access their own power to heal.
