The Girl Scout Programs at the Smithtown Historical Society allow Scouts to work with professional in the museum field to obtain merit badges. Our museum staff is able to assist in programs pertaining to American heritage, collections and genealogy. We would be happy to meet with parents and Scouts to devise a flexible program that best fits the troop. The Historical Society would be happy to contribute four hours of program time in exchange for ten hours of service time at the Historical Society.

Programs for Girl Scouts are designed for children to gain a greater sense of history and the world around them. If you see a program that might suit another level of Scouts, please contact us about gearing the program to that level. Program changes are made at the discretion of the Director of Education.
