Location:
The Henry Hudson Park is located in South Riverdale on Kappock Street near the junction of Independence Avenue.

The Henry Hudson Park is a small playground. It is a nearly enclosed playground. The upper Henry Hudson Park is aimed at young children.

Swing equipment:
The Henry Hudson Park has four swings: three leather belt children swings and one flat plastic child swing.

Climbing equipment:
There is one climbing frame at the Henry Hudson Park. There are openings in the climbing frame so children may fall off. It is designed for ages 6-12.
The climbing frame has eight graduated steps to it; a five-foot high spiral slide with three steps to it; a stationary arched bridge;
a six-foot high spiral corkscrew ladder; a three-step vertical ladder; a five-step vertical ladder;
a seven-step half-web ladder; a six-step loop pole ladder; and a fireman's pole.
NOTE: None of the equipment is wheelchair accessible or meets ADA guidelines.

Sandbox:
The Henry Hudson Park does not have a sandbox.

Shading and park surface:
The Henry Hudson Park has about 30% shade. The Henry Hudson Park has an asphalt surface with red rubber safety mats under the climbing equipment and swings.

Facilities:
The Henry Hudson Park has a water fountain, plenty of park benches, and a restroom but no sprinkler.

Local features:
The Henry Hudson Park is seen as the big kid playground to nearby Paul's Park.
