Spuyten Duyvil Playground is located in Central Riverdale on West 236th Street near the junction of Henry Hudson Terrace.

Spuyten Duyvil Playground is a popular, family-friendly playground. It is a nearly enclosed playground. It is aimed at toddlers, preschoolers, and young children.
Note: There is an entrance ramp to Spuyten Duyvil Playground for wheelchair accessbility.
Swing equipment:
Spuyten Duyvil Playground has four swings: one full bucket molded plastic infant swing, two full bucket cross leather infant swings, and one Jenn Swing.
The Jenn Swing is designed for children with movement impairments. It is designed to help meet ADA guidelines.
Climbing equipment:
There are two climbing frames (including one double climbing frame) at Spuyten Duyvil Playground. There are openings in the climbing frames so children may fall off.
There is a climbing frame (a double climbing frame) to the rear of the park's entrance. It is designed for ages 6-12.
This climbing frame has ten graduated steps to it; a seven-foot high spiral slide with five steps to it; a swinging curved bridge;
a onestep vertical ladder; a five-step vertical ladder; a five-step swinging ladder;
a fireman's pole; a six-step loop pole ladder; a three-foot high straight slide;
a six-foot high overhead horizontal ladder or monkey bars; and a six-foot high overhead bridge with six hanging triangles.
NOTE: None of the equipment is wheelchair accessible or meets ADA guidelines.
The double climbing frame is designed for ages 5-8.
The climbing frame has five graduated steps to it; a five-foot high straight slide; a three-foot high straight slide;
a five-step swinging ladder; a three-step spiral ring ladder; a seven-step loop arched ladder;
and a six-foot high overhead bridge with six hanging triangles.
NOTE: None of the equipment is wheelchair accessible or meets ADA guidelines.
Sandbox:
Spuyten Duyvil Playground has a sandbox that is rectangular-shaped and is approximately ten feet by five feet.
Shading and park surface:
Spuyten Duyvil Playground has about 10% shade. Spuyten Duyvil Playground has an asphalt surface with black rubber safety mats under the climbing equipment and swings.
Facilities:
Spuyten Duyvil Playground has a wading pool, a sprinkler, a water fountain, plenty of park benches, and a restroom.
Local features:
Spuyten Duyvil Playground is a large playground that attracts many children from P.S. 24, a public elementary school, and the Riverdale Temple.
It is the only public playground in Riverdale with a wading pool.
