Financier Patisserie 62 Stone St and 35 Cedar St

Specializes in traditional French pastries, but also offers a great hot breakfast menu, including a delicious egg sandwich on brioche. Serves lunch as well. Pleasant outdoor seating available.

Pump Energy Food 80 Pine St

Offers a menu designed to maximize nutritional value with healthy, natural ingredients. Open for all meals, but the healthy burrito, packed with eggs, veggies and guacamole, makes for an excellent start to the day.

Made Fresh Daily 226 Front St

If you have a bit more time, this Seaport gem is ideal for nursing a latte and enjoying a Doughnut Plant donut or baked fritatta, while browsing one of the magazines they keep on hand.

Meade's 22 Peck Slip

A favorite local bar, the brunch menu is not to be ignored. The Hangover Pie is world-class, whether or not your state matches its moniker. And breakfast potatoes here are perfectly crispy tater tots. Plus an additional $12 gets you all-you-can-drink mimosas or bloody marys.

Lunch

Swich

Alfanoose 8 Maiden Ln

Awarded the best falafel in New York every year since 2000. A full complement of other Middle Eastern sandwiches are also available. Stellar hummus and a cooler stocked with any soda imaginable. Leave room for a slice of baklava for dessert.

Ashby's 10 Pine St

A great option for a quick pre-made sandwich, or design your own sandwich or salad and still get in and out in a hurry.

Koodo Sushi 55 Liberty St

Maki Lunch Combos A and B offer a great bang for your buck: 2 rolls, miso soup and 2 tamagi for under $12. Creative vegetarian options abound; try the peanut roll. Also available for pickup and delivery for lunch or dinner.

Sophie's 73 New St and 141 Fulton St

Dinner

Adrienne's Pizza Bar

Adrienne's Pizza Bar 54 Stone St

Considered by some the best pizza in New York, it is definitely the top of the line in the Financial District. The old-fashioned square pizza is not to be missed. Outdoor seating on Stone Street, along with a full bar and creative cocktails.

Cabana Seaport 89 South St

A stellar water view combines with tasty Nuevo Latino fare for a fun night out. Try the spicy Caribbean jerk chicken with a tropical flavored margarita.

Delmonico's 56 Beaver St

A neighborhood landmark, Delmonico's opened in 1837: the first fine dining restaurant in America. Definitely a splurge, but the culinary history (and taste!) of the Delmonico Steak might just be worth the price tag.

Salud 142 Beekman St

A South American take on tapas offers surprising and delicious combinations of flavors. Try the langostacos or the piononos. Plus, potent mojitos and capirinhas are only $5 during happy hour (4 to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday).

Stone Street Tavern 52 Stone St

Billed as a "charming alternative to the traditional Wall Street steaks and suits," Stone Street Tavern is ideal for a burger (or your favorite bar fare) and a beer.
