This essay was originally presented in a modified form at a Castle Scholars seminar in Manhattanville College, which I attended, and as a paper in the class "POS.3012 section 01 Environmental Politics". I have turned it into a website for "
LIS 650 Basic Web Design" at Long Island University. The essay discusses how the more ecologically minded characters of Final Fantasy VII (Cloud, Barret, Tifa, Aeris, and Nanaki) viewed the environment and Lifestream, how they fought for it, and in some cases, fought for other reasons. It is recommended that you play Final Fantasy VII before reading this website, as it contains analysis and spoilers.
