Ingredients
- 3 c flour
- 8 oz butter
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/4 c milk
- 1 c heavy cream
- 2 1/4 t dry yeast
- 1 c chopped nuts
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 2 1/2 t cinnamon
Directions
- Mix flour and butter until well blended
- Mix yolks, milk, and heavy cream and add to flour/butter
- Add in yeast
- Divde dough into 6 parts, wrapping each in foil
- Refrigerate dough overnight
- Roll each package into a cirle on a floured board
- Divide nut/sugar/cinnamon mixture in 6
- Cover each dough on both sides with mixture
- Cut each circle in 8 wedges like a pie
- Roll up each wedge starting at wide end
- Bake on greased cookie sheet at 325 degrres for 25 minutes
Eggs Strata
Ingredients
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1 c shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 c milk
- 1 t dry milk
- 6 slices bread, cubed
- 1 lb Brown & Serve sausage
- 1 t salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Beat eggs, milk, salt & mustard
- Brown sausage & place in bottom of 9” x 13” greased pan (Can use any meat or seafood.)
- Place bread cubes in pan, top with cheddar, and pour liquid mixture over top
- Keep in refrigerator overnight
- Bake for 40-60 minutes covered and uncover for last 10 minutes
