ARE NOT REQUIRED.

Non-U.S. visitors need a valid passport and may also require a valid visa, depending on your country of origin. No immunizations are necessary.

U.S. Virgin Islands

• Consists of 3 mains islands: St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix

• Location: In the Caribbean east of Puerto Rico and only a few miles west of the British Virgin Islands

  Official language is English- U.S. Dollar Currency

• Average High Temperature: Summer 90 degrees F, Winter 84 degrees F

• Time zone: Atlantic Standard Time (Does not recognize Daylight Savings Time)

• Driving on the road: Stay on the left!

Originally settled by the Arawak Indians, the islands were later ruled by Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France and Denmark. Sugarcane was the main crop produced by slave labor in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Please note:
U.S. residents traveling to and from the U.S. Virgin Islands may travel using a driver's license or other compliant identification.

However, new passport regulations require that you present your passport when re-entering the U.S. from any other destination such as the British Virgin Islands and other Caribbean countries.
