Association for Learning and Technology:
A British organization that "aims to promote good practice in the use and development of learning technologies in higher education...and represent the membership in areas of policy such as infrastructure provision and resource allocation."

Campus Computing Project:
Focuses on the use of information technology in higher education and examines policies affecting the role of IT in teaching, learning and scholarship.

Corporation for Research and Educational Networking (CREN):
A non-profit, member organization of over 200 universities, colleges, and research organizations whose mission is to support higher education and research organizations with strategic IT knowledge services and communication tools.

Educause:
"A nonprofit organization whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology."
Especially "Campus Information Policies" which focuses on many of the issues facing institutions of higher learning as they work to develop IT policies.

North American Association of Technology Professionals:
A group of individuals, organizations and centers of higher learning that develop, utilize, educate or manufacture technology products and services.

Universities and Colleges Information Systems Association:
A European organization representing "the whole of higher education in the provision and development of academic, management and administrative information systems."
