The Collection of Reference Resources on Materials About Scanning Photographs and Transparencies

The development of modern technology brought about many opportunities to preserve humanity's cultural and intellectual achievements. To successfully apply new techniques such as scanning and digitizing images, one has to have a theoretical understanding of these processes. The acquisition of practical skills will not hurt either.

The fragile and unique archival materials require very careful handling during these potentially damaging processes. This collection is an attempt to put together various resources in order to facilitate the development of theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of scanning and digitizing archival photographs and trancparencies.
