Community Service Project
Each year, YAWN participates in a community service project.
This project promotes youth activism and makes the library's services
more visible to the community.
This Year's Project
Computer and Internet Training
- Teach patrons how to use computers
- Help patrons learn the basics of Internet searching
Last Year's Project
Peer Tutoring
- Helped children understand and complete homework assignments
- Played educational games to help children study for exams
We will start our computer and Internet training in late February. Training will take place in the library only. Would you like to volunteer your time for this service?
