18 months after the disaster and a year after the Mission team's first trip in Jan. 2006, much reconstruction work remains to be done

Hurricane Katrina devastated the Mississippi Gulf Coast in the area around the town of Gautier and the city of Biloxi. Only the skeleton remains of many of the houses.

Work assigned matched the skills of team members and included

• electrical wiring and plumbing
• dry wall and spackling
• debris removal, sanding and painting
