Birder's Perspective
Tod's Point, Greenwich, CT

osprey

Thirty miles from Manhattan lies the sandy peninsula of Greenwich Point Park, fondly called "Tod's Point" by locals. This hidden treasure, tucked away between the busy I-95 corridor, the shimmering Long Island Sound, and the misty New York city skyline in the distance, offers some wonderful and unique opportunities for bird watching. On any given day, bird enthusiasts and nature lovers can espy their feathered friends in their natural habitat, or partake in organized bird walks with local experts in the field. This website was created not only for fellow birders, but as a tribute to the Town of Greenwich, which had the foresight to protect and foster the natural habitat of some of its most prime real estate.
