Worsted-Weight Yarn
-
There are a number of different kinds of yarns available to use. This is the most commonly used yarn. It is a soft 4-ply material,
made of 100% acrylic that is mothproof, colorfast, shrink proof and non-allergenic. It is a medium weight yarn.
But you can also use any type of string material.
Crochet Hook
-
This is used to create the projects. Needles come in aluminum or plastic, with a size range of B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P and Q. B is the smallest needle, creating tight and small material. Q is the largest, creating a larger project.
Blunt Needle
-
This is used to weave in the ends of the Worsted-Weight wool into the project. Needles can be made of plastic or steel and need to be large enough to thread the wool through.
