Ms. Dlugolonski (or "Ms. D.") joined the staff at the Henry Waldinger Memorial Library in October 2005.
She holds a BA in English from Molloy College, and is currently pursuing her MSLIS at CW Post's Palmer School of Library and Information Science.
In addition to her studies, Ms. D. is a Graduate Assistant for the campus Writing Center primarily conducting web-based writing workshops for both undergraduate and graduate students.
Although this is Ms. D.'s first library job, she has worked with children for many years.
She was a camp counselor at Friends Academy for 11 years and coached high school lacrosse for 5 years.
She has also worked as a substitute teaching assistant, a tutor for ESL students, and a cross country coach.
Ms. D. enjoys running, reading, and crafts.
However, the bulk of her free time is spent being outwitted by her 2-year-old daughter to whom she has read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See? more times than she wishes to count.
