WRITING
Our writing workshop follows the Teacher's College model. The writing process (prewriting and planning, drafting, revising, and editing) is taught within each unit of study. The workshop model is followed which includes a minilesson, independent writing, small group guided writing, individual conferences, and a share time. All second grade New York State writing standards (large pdf file) are met.
