Bobst Library is located at 70 Washington Square South, which is at the corner of West 4th St. and University Place. It is easily reached by the 6, N/R, A/C/E, and 1/9 subway lines. Access and Borrowing Privileges |

You will receive a Bobst library card from the Access reception area when you enter on your first day of class; this reception area is located to your left when you enter the library. Your access card will be valid for the current semester only. You will be reissued a new card at the beginning of each semester that you are enrolled for classes at Bobst. You will need to show this card when you enter the library each time. This is also your Bobst library card; in order to use the card to borrow books, go to the circulation desk on the first floor and they will give you a barcode. |

Classrooms |

The Palmer School uses 3 classrooms in the Avery Fisher Center (AFC) located on the second floor of Bobst: the West Room, the East Room, and the Seminar Room. Take the elevators straight ahead of you as you enter the building to the second floor. To get to the West Room, go through the doors in the center of the floor; the West room is to the right and towards the back. To get to the East Room, go through the first set of doors only in the center of the floor, make a left, going past the staircase, and the East Room will be on your right. To get to the Seminar room, make a right out of the elevator and go through the glass doors; the Seminar room is on your left. We also use the Electronic Resources Classroom (ERC) for our lab-based courses. The ERC is located on the B-level of Bobst.
