In the four years we've been filming, Wayne has fully deconstructed and restored a 1949 Ford Tractor in addition to all of his other tasks. We've been through two cameras, more batteries than you can shake a stick at, a near-death crisis for the jam, actual deaths of some of the participants, and about a million wonderful renditions of "With My Friends at the Old Country Church" in versions whistled, played on the Dobro, and everything in between. We have gotten married, switched careers and cities, and been deeply moved by the events and music at Wayne's.
We plan to have Saturday Night at Wayne's edited in time for film festivals starting next fall. The footage looks and sounds fantastic and it has been well worth the wait.
We're looking forward to sharing Wayne's with the world.
