saturday night at wayne's

is never far from Sunday morning

jesus saves sign

Wayne was saved on his mother's birthday, July 25, 1999, and the jam at his body shop has evolved along with his religious beliefs. The evening at Wayne's begins and ends in Jesus' name, with a prayer and a reminder to read your Bible. The first Saturday of every month is gospel, and testifying is woven in between the songs.

Of course, the music reflects this religious message. Many people at Wayne's, if not most, sing and play in their churches, and the choice of songs reflects this tradition. But the choice of songs is almost never church hymns, but country and bluegrass gospel, what Wayne calls message songs with a plan of salvation.
