I am an IT support professional, in other words, the "tech guy". Except that I'm a woman. I have worked in the IT field for 12 years, working in Microsoft and Novell Netware networks. I have worked on many kinds of Windows software, PC hardware, PC peripheral issues.
Since January 2001, I have worked in SUNY Westchester Community College.
I just completed my master's study in Library and Information Science in the year of 2010 from Westchester Campus of
Long Island University.
In my spare time, I like to read. I read many kinds of books that come my way. From ancient Chinese literature to trashy novels in English. Right now, I'm working on a few romance books (this is on-going, there are just so many hot steamy ones out there LOL )and can't help myself wondering why the men in reality are so far off from those in romance novels. Also reading an interesting book named Cunt. I'm still too early in the book to make a statement yet. I like to travel, I wish I could have the chance to meet some people around the world and get to know their cultural no-nos, their sexuality, their women's places in society, their ways of raising children and their emotional attachments to each other!
Aside from reading, I like to draw and work with graphics. Right now, I'm playing with Adobe Design Premium CS5. Here are some of my art projects both digital and using traditional media. I also like hiking, but not disciplined enough to go regularly and I'm learning to swim, since I'm like a rock in the water, I'm terrified to death. I'm still a Linux virgin, working on losing this virginity. I have to admit, I'm not working very hard at it. p.s. Just signed up as a language exchange partner, I'm going to learn my third language.. Wish me luck!
