Here, the artist assembles a carved ostrich egg, an aluminum coffee filter along with 4 texts exploring heteronyms. The eggshell – a natural container for life – becomes a porous container of absurd relationships in language. The printed text has been cut into narrow strips, spun into paper thread.

Heteronyms are words that are spelled the same but pronounced differently and have divergent meanings. They can also be words that have alternate meanings in different languages.
