Returning
All materials borrowed by users must be returned to the circulation counter where they were borrowed before the materials' due date. When the Library is not open, materials can be edposited in the return boxes. However, the return date of the materials is based on the records kept in the Library's computer. Users are advised to check their personal online account through the Library's homepage the day after depositing their materials to ensure that materials' return was registered properly.
If materials are returned after their due date, apart from having their borrowing privileges suspended, users will be fined NT$5 per day per overdue material. After 30days, fines will cease to accumulate, but each further day of delay will result in day of suspended library privileges. This suspension can be lifted by paying NT$5 per material per day. When students graduate, transfer schools, take leave, or drop out of school, or when faculty members leave, they must return all materials borrowed from the Library. If their library previleges are still suspended at this time, they must pay the amount necessary to have them restored before they can process their application to leave the school.

Renewals
Patrons with renewal rights can renew materials as long as the materials are not overdue and there are not any other library patrons who have reserved the materials. Book renewals must be made 10 days before the due date. The new due date is figured from the original due date. Patrons can go to the section "View your record" on the Library's homepage to renew their materials.

Reserving Rooms
There are four discussion rooms, room 301, 302 on the third floor, room 401, 402 on the fourth floor, which can be used by groups of at least three. Each use is limited to 2 hours, and users must register at the circulation counter before using the rooms. Those who register to use a discussion room must trade the student or employee ID for a room key which needs to be returned after finishing using the room. Users who fail to return the discussion room key will be fined at a rate of NT$10 per hour.
