Library's Virtual Reference Services

Chat Service is a real-time "live" virtual communication between a library professionals and an user. During the library's operating hours, the users can log into their chat service to ask questions and they'll receive information and resources instantly. To login the chat service, users will have to fill out a simple questionnaire form. The questions are usually their names and their email addresses. Once the chat session ended, the users will receive a transcript by email so they will have a record of what was discussed and what are the informaiton and sources. When needed, the library professionals can always contact the users by email or any other contact method they agreed upon in the chat session.
